Hello collectors! Update v3.1 is here, and it brings a massive wave of balancing adjustments to make the item economy feel more rewarding and logical. We have adjusted rarities, buffed mythical items, and tweaked some sets!

Item Rarity Rebalancing

Based on community feedback, we have adjusted the rarity of several items to better match their power level. Effective immediately:

Stat Changes (Buffs & Nerfs)

We felt that some of the hardest-to-get items (Mythicals especially) weren't strong enough. We have buffed them significantly!

Set & Achievement Changes

• Devil Duck Set: Buffed! Now provides +10% Sell Price and +10% Spawn Speed (up from +8%).
• Purple Rain Set: Adjusted. Bonus reduced slightly, stats rebalanced to +7% Spawn Rate and +12% Shop Discount.
• Liquidating: The "Liquidating Your Position" achievement has been simplified. It now triggers when you use your last sell charge. A sitting duck indeed.
• Set Bonus Display: Fixed a bug where set bonuses without unique text wouldn't show up in the breakdown. They are now fully visible!
• Golden Set: The breakdown now clearly shows the +30% Sell Price boost from this set, making it easier to understand its value at a glance. Also we eliminated erroneous references to this set giving a "3x" sell value buff.

These changes are live now! Good luck hunting for those new Legendaries!

Welcome to v3.0! This update is focused on making Duckstreet smoother, cleaner, and more accessible for everyone.

Performance & Stability

We've done a deep dive into the game's engine to fix lag and audio issues.

• No More Lag: We rebuilt the save system to buffer stats in memory. The game now only saves every few seconds instead of every frame, eliminating stuttering on Main Street.
• Audio Fix: Fixed the annoying bug where background music would cut out and never come back. If a tab crashes, the music will now auto-recover!
• Achievement Caching: Optimized how achievements are checked to save battery life and CPU usage.

Bug Fixes

• The "Other" Item: Fixed a weird bug in the Swapper where "Other" category items (the flip effects) would behave unpredictably.
• Achievement Unlocks: Fixed the "Seen it All" achievement not triggering when you collected every accessory.

UI & Accessibility

We want everyone to enjoy Duckstreet, no matter what device they are on.

• Responsive Design: The UI has been updated to look cleaner on all viewports, from mobile phones to 4K monitors.
• Cleaner Layouts: Menus and buttons now scale better to prevent overlapping.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Update v2.7 is here, and it changes everything. We have officially opened the Item Shop!

The Item Shop & Inventory

You can now spend your hard-earned coins on more than just upgrades. Visit the Shop to find a rotating daily selection of accessories, or browse the new Items Tab to buy powerful tools and consumables.

All your purchases are stored in the new Inventory Tray (bottom left). Slide it open to use your items!

New Tools & Toys

• Traffic Controller: Buy this tool to add a slider to the main street. You can now control the speed of the ducks! Slow them down to 10% for easier clicking.
• Tracking Bells: Hunting for a specific item? Buy a Bell (Common to Mythical), go to the Gallery, and attach it to an item. You'll get a sound cue when that specific item appears on the street!
• The Swapper: A new machine in the Pond that lets you swap accessories between two ducks. Finally, you can mix and match to create the perfect look.
• Trash Bin: A permanent unlock that lets you delete specific items from a duck without deleting the whole duck.

Consumables

Need a boost?

• Energy Drink: Instantly refells your Sell Charges.
• Overcharge Battery: Grants Infinite Sell Charges for 60 seconds!
• Loaded Dice: Manipulate RNG to guarantee better rarities on the next spawn.

This update lays the foundation for a whole new level of strategy in duckstreet. Enjoy the shop!

Quack! This update is a big one. I've been hard at work adding a ton of new content and squashing some pesky bugs. Here is everything new in version 2.6.7!

?? New Fashion Sets

Get ready to mix and match! I've added 13 New Fashion Sets to the game. Become one with nature with the Fire Elemental (+100% Sell Price!), blast off with the Astronaut Duck, or stomp around with the Elephant set.

?? Over 40 New Items!

The accessory pool just got a lot more colorful! Look out for new items like:

• Animal Parts: Elephant Trunks, Chicken Combs, and more!
• New Pants: Finally, pants in every color of the rainbow.
• Themes: Space gear, nautical sailor outfits, and hippie vibes.

?? Gallery Descriptions

The Gallery has received a major polish pass. Every single item now has its own unique description! Click on items in the gallery to read up on your favorite items!

??? Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Mobile Stability: Fixed a crash that occurred for players with very large Ponds (optimized rendering!).
• Zero Coin Bug: Fixed a scary bug where selling a duck quickly would sometimes award 0 coins.
• Shop Fix: Fixed an issue where the Daily Shop wouldn't open for some imported saves.
• Visuals: Prismatic items now correctly show their shiny effect on the street ducks.

Hello collectors! Update v2.6 is here, and it brings a feature for the true end-game players: Prestige.

The Great Migration

You can now purchase "The Great Migration" from the Upgrades shop. This is a massive decision. It will RESET your Pond, Gallery, and Coins.

Why would you do that? Because your current Head Duck's stats become PERMANENT.

That's right. If your Head Duck has +50% Sell Price, and you Migrate, you start the game over with a base +50% Sell Price. Do it again, and you have +100%. There is no limit. Build the ultimate snowball!

P.S. Is it just me, or did I just see a duck that looks... prismatic? I swear I saw a glimmer. Keep your eyes peeled. It was probably nothing...

Welcome to v2.5! This is a major content update that adds a brand new way to earn coins, alongside some critical bug fixes that have been highly requested by the community.

The Bounty Board

A new button has appeared on the main street: Bounties.

Every day, three specific duck "looks" will be posted on the Bounty Board. If you can find, construct, and sell a duck that matches one of these Wanted Posters, you will earn a massive coin reward! These bounties range from simple to very involved. It will be worth it though! Happy hunting!

Major Bug Fixes

This update crushes two of the most annoying bugs in the game:

• Audio Engine Fix: Fixed a persistent issue where background music would fail to start after a hard refresh. The audio engine has been rewritten to reliably capture user interaction and start the tunes immediately.
• Spawn Overlap Fix: Fixed a logic error in the duck spawner that allowed ducks to spawn directly on top of each other, creating a chaotic mess of sprites. Ducks will now properly respect personal space.

Welcome to v2.4.6! This update is all about connecting with you—the players—and securing your hard-earned collections.

Settings Revamp & Save System

We've completely revamped the Settings page to be cleaner, easier to navigate, and much more powerful. Most importantly, we have officially added Import/Export Saving!

You can now export your save data as a secure code and import it on any device. Whether you are switching phones or just want a backup, your ducks are now safe and portable!

Duckstreet is now on Social Media!

We are officially launching the Duckstreet Instagram! This isn't just a page for updates; it's a hub for the community. Here is what you can expect:

Hello collectors! We are back with another update, v2.4.5. This update focuses on cleaning up the UI, securing your save data, and adding a little bit of calcium to the game.

The Duck Skeleton Set

It's never too late for a little spookiness. I've added the Duck Skeleton Fashion Set!

To complete this boney look, you'll need to find the Bone Wings, Skeleton Body, Bone Beak, Skeleton Legs, Bone Board, and Square Eyes.

Settings Revamp & Save Exporting

The Settings menu was getting a little long and cluttered, so I've completely redesigned it! It now features a clean "Dashboard" layout with organized groups for Audio, Progress, Info, and Community.

Even better: Progress Saving! As voted on by you all in our most recent poll, you can now Export your save data as a code and Import it on another device (or just keep it as a backup). No more losing progress when you clear your browser cache!

Performance & Bug Fixes

• Lag Reduction: I've implemented a new rendering system that "flattens" the ducks into a single image before they roll onto duckstreet. This significantly reduces lag, especially on mobile devices when many ducks are on screen.
• "How Did We Get Here?" Fix: Fixed a bug where this coveted set would unlock prematurely before you actually collected the invisible items. Now you truly have to earn the confusion.
• Street State Fix: Fixed a visual bug where "Upside Down" ducks would flip back to normal when returning from the Pond. They now stay inverted as intended!

So, you want to become a Master Collector, huh? Do you keep finding yourself asking "what are those hidden achievements!?" Well, you've come to the right place! This is the official guide for all hidden achievements in duckstreet. We won't give you the exact answers, but these hints should point you in the right direction. Good luck, collector!

Hello collectors! We're keeping the content train rolling with Update v2.4.4. This update is strictly about expanding your wardrobe and making the game look better than ever.

New Fashion Sets

I've added 7 brand-new Fashion Sets to discover! These sets use some of the rarer items you might have been hoarding, so check your Pond to see if you can complete them.

• Pirate Duck: Arrr! Combine the Swashbuckler Pants, Eyepatch, Pirate Hat, and Peg Leg to become a true sea captain.
• Painter Duck: Get creative with the Paint Splattered body, Paintbrush Beak, and Paint Pants!
• Baby Duck: Baby hair and baby undies, classic baby moment.
• Toothpick Duck: Pin Legs and Long Beak... Unfortunate genetics.
• I Guess it Works: If a duck is gonna skate upside down, it better have a skateboard on its head.
• Lumberduck: A hard worker needs Warm Boots, a Hunting Hat, and... a Chainsaw.
• Holding Coalfeld: A duck who just can't let go. Hunting Hat, Sad Eyes, and a Smoking Beak.

Visual Polish

Alongside the new sets, I've gone through and polished up several existing sprites to make them pop more on the street. The visual clarity of certain accessories has been improved, making it easier to spot those rare items as they skate by!

Bug Fixes

This update also includes a few key fixes:

• "Doodle Duck" Set Fix: Fixed a bug where the "Doodle Duck" set could not be completed. The "Default Body" part will now correctly register as the final piece of the set.
• Image Optimization: Legitimately no one cares, but I optimized all of the image files so the game runs faster! Epic!
• Hidden Achievement Fix: Fixed a bug where hidden achievements like "Pennyless" or "Dizzy" wouldn't unlock properly at the right time.

Hello, duck collectors! Hot on the heels of the Head Duck update, I'm dropping a new content patch, v2.4.2, to flesh out the game with more items to find and sets to build. This update adds a whopping 20 new accessories and 4 new Fashion Sets!

The New Mythical Set: "The Real Duck"

Have you ever wondered what a... *real* duck would look like on duckstreet? Well, now you know! This new Mythical-tier (1/5000) set is for the most dedicated collectors.

Find all five hyper-realistic parts (Real Beak, Real Body, Real Eye, Real Feet, and Real Wing) to complete this bizarre and powerful set. It provides a massive coin bonus of 100,000 Coins in the gallery and some of the best all-around Head Duck stats in the game!

More New Fashion Sets

Three other sets have been added to fill out the collection:

• Band Duck: Get the band together! Find the Trumpet Beak, Band Uniform, and Band Hat to create this musical masterpiece.
• Woodland Duck: A very natural look. This set combines the new Mushroom Hat, Log, and the existing Leaf Umbrella.
• Flamingo: Simple and elegant. Just find the new Pink Body and the One Leg accessory to create this classic bird.

Tons of New Accessories

To support these new sets and add more variety, 20 new items have been scattered across all rarity tiers. Keep an eye out for cool new items like the Legendary "Future Eyes", the Very Rare "Anime Eyes" and "Mushroom Hat", and the chaotic "Puzzle Cube Board".

This is easily the biggest strategic update to duckstreet yet! I'm thrilled to introduce the new Head Duck system. This feature adds a whole new layer to your collection and gives a real purpose to all those ducks you've been saving.

How Does It Work?

From now on, you can "Appoint" one duck from your Pond to be the Head Duck. You can do this from the new "Head Duck" tab on the Pond page.

This single duck will provide game-wide, passive buffs based on its accessories and completed Fashion Sets! You can see all the active boosts on the Head Duck tab. Want to change your leader? You can appoint a new one, but there's a 10-minute cooldown, so choose wisely!

Stats and Unique Bonuses

Your Head Duck's buffs come from two places:

• Item Stats: Almost every accessory now has small, stackable stats. One hat might give you "+3% Sell Price" while another gives "-5% Sell Price" but "+10% Loot Quality". It's up to you to build a duck that matches your playstyle!
• Unique Set Bonuses: This is where the real power is. Completing a Fashion Set on your Head Duck will unlock a powerful, unique bonus. For example:
  • The Angelic Set increases your Max Sell Charges to 10!
  • The Birthday Duck Set gives you a 10% chance to sell *any* duck for 5x its value!
  • The Blocky Set is for serious collectors, preventing Common-tier items from spawning on incoming ducks!

Are you a farmer (Spawn Rate/Luck)? A tycoon (Sell Price/Shop Cost)? The choice is now yours.

Performance & Quality of Life

This update also includes a massive performance overhaul to make the game feel *way* faster based on analytics.

• INP Fix: The horrible "lag" or "freeze" when clicking on incoming ducks, pond ducks, and gallery categories is gone. All the heavy work is now done in the background so your click feels instant.
• LCP Fix: The main page (index.html) will now load its duck images much faster by preloading the base duck sprites.
• CLS Fix: The Gallery page content will no longer "jump" as it loads.
• Toast Animation Fix: Achievement and Set Complete toasts will now slide in smoothly instead of just "popping" into existence.
• Pond Sorting Fix: The "Newest" and "Oldest" sorting options in the Pond now work correctly.
• Mobile Spawn Rate: Mobile spawn speed has been synced with desktop. The base spawn time is now 2 seconds for everyone.
• New About Page: The old "About" tab in the settings is now its own page! You can find it in the settings menu or the footer.

Get ready to turn your speakers on! This is an update I've wanted to do for a long time. duckstreet finally has sound! This has been a massive undertaking, and I'm so excited for you to hear it.

Introducing the Sound System!

The biggest feature of v2.3 is the new audio system. This includes:

• Background Music: A chill 8-bit style track to accompany your duck collecting.
• Sound Effects: Dozens of new sounds! You'll hear satisfying *pops* for stealing, *ka-chings* for sales, jingles for achievements, and so much more.
• Ambient Quacks: Very rarely, you might just hear a duck quack. For ambiance!

New Volume Controls

With new sound, you need new controls. The "Mute" button in the settings has been replaced with a new "Volume" section.

Gameplay & Quality of Life Fixes

This update also includes a ton of bug fixes and small improvements based on your feedback:

• No More 'Conga Line': Fixed the major bug where tabbing away and coming back would cause ducks to spawn in a tight, slow-moving "conga line." Ducks now spawn correctly and move based on real time.
• Seamless Music: The background music will no longer restart from the beginning every time you visit the Pond or Gallery. It now picks up right where it left off.
• Smarter Stealing: You can no longer steal the *exact* same accessory you're already wearing. (But you can still swap a Top Hat for a Party Hat!)
• Nicer Spawns: Ducks will now spawn at slightly different vertical heights, making the street feel less rigid.

Why a blog? duckstreet has grown so much, and a little popup in the settings just isn't enough room to share all the exciting news! This blog will be our official home for patch notes, future plans, and maybe even some sneak peeks at new accessories or sets. What's New in v2.2?

This update was all about adding more content and fixing some long-standing bugs.

• New Fashion Sets: We added the "Shark Set," "Alien Duck," and "Gardener Duck" sets! Check the Gallery to see the new items you'll need to find.
• New Achievements: A bunch of new achievements, including hidden ones, have been added. Can you find "The Flipper" or "Liquidating your Position"?
• Sell Charge System: The "Sell Duck" button is now based on charges (max 5) that regenerate over time. This makes selling high-value ducks more strategic.
• Bug Fixes: Fixed a major bug in the Pond where duck images would sometimes render incorrectly or not at all.
